Ferris State University Graduation 2006
You should already know to whom this website belongs so I will not bother repeating my name. Honestly, I am a little surprised at how much I like this current site so I may keep it around for a while. Anyway, I am not very good at talking about myself so I will do my best to keep this brief so as to let you continue your visit around the site.
I graduated from Ferris State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in Computer Information Systems. Within a few months of graduation I was employed by a local university and continue working there today. Soon after taking employment I decided it was time to continue my education and now spend my time studying for a Master of Science in Administration concentrating in Information Resource Management. Although I am not quite sure how I will use this new degree, I love learning new things and an advanced degree was the perfect way to learn new things while giving myself the tools necessary for career advancement down the road.
Outside of work and school I like tinkering with websites. I spent a few years running a web design business only to eventually realize that I had taken a hobby I enjoyed and turned it into a job I disliked. Now, I simply play around with this website and from time to time help a few friends/businesses with their website needs.
Beyond the aforementioned I like biking, skiing, hanging with my family, and especially relaxing on the lake. Over the past 1-2 years I have spent a majority of my time (outside of work and studying) refurbishing my new house with the gracious assistance of my father and uncle. Together, the three of us have put in well over 1,300 hours worth of work and took a house that was literally destroyed and turned it into an amazing home. Although the three of us have done a large chunk of the work it would not have been possible without additional help from my mother and brother as well as the dozens of other people that at some point chipped in to help out. (My family can be seen in the photo above).
